Personally, I think Oklahoma State is a tad overrated, and I bet Iowa State last week +3, fortunate to get a push, but I still came away from that game thinking the same thing. I think Sam Ehlinger should be able to put up some solid numbers against an Oklahoma State defense that really hasn’t faced anyone. Ehlinger, last year had 4 TD’s, and 70 rushing yards. The Texas defensive strength is stopping the run ranking 24th in EPA rush defense, and that’s a bad matchup for Oklahoma State who needs to run the ball to win games. Oklahoma State may win this game, but I think it’s going to be tight and 3.5 offers far too much value as this is a massive game for Tom Herman as head coach of the Longhorns. He sounds confident and excited with the way the defense is trending and getting better and they have yet to play their A game. Last week getting out to a 27-3 lead on Baylor and cruising was good to see.
