UCLA +3.5 3.3% PLAY
A rare Sunday college game before the pros get kicked off.
74% of the money is on Cal this morning, and I just couldn’t help but fade it and grab UCLA, which didn’t look great in their week 1 game against Colorado, but after Colorado beat Stanford yesterday as a big dog it suddenly looks like Colorado is a bit better than anyone expected. UCLA also lost 3 fumbles in that game and were -4 TO margin and only lost by 6.
This game was also announced Friday so for me it seems a bit difficult for one team to have a huge edge and with this line moving over a point, I don’t think the oddsmakers are that far off so we get some value here with UCLA. I have made money over the past two years with Cal, but I see there are just too many question marks. For one their defensive line has not practiced with the team in nearly two weeks. Tackling is going to be a huge issue and I give the edge to UCLA who has better athletes.
