This is a 1* FREE PLAY on the UNDER Texans/Bears. I'm looking to improve on my awesome NFL and NCAAF campaign last year. Just check the leaderboards at all the major sites out there. I finished among the best in the World in each sport. I have a big play out on the SIDE in this year's HOF Game, but I also really like the "under" in this one as well. And the main reason is that I don't trust the Bears' backup QB's to be able to move the ball at all in this one effectively. Neither the Texans' CJ Stroud, or the Beas Caleb Williams will see much, or any time under center in this one. And the Bears' backups are just terrible, with Tyson Bagent and Brett Rypien expected to see most of the time. Chicago ended the 2023/24 season with a vastly improved defense, and all signs point to the unit being the strength of the team early on. In my opinion, the 2024 HOF Game will be decided by field position and in the trenches. This number is high, the play is the UNDER. Good luck, NP |

This is a 10* CFL GOW on the Red Blacks. I think Ottawa should be favored in this one for sure. Calgary is 3-3 after hlding on for a 25-24 home win two weeks ago, while Ottawa is 4-2 after beating Edmonton 20-14 in Week 7. After this the Stamps have two straight against Toronto, and I think they could get caught looking ahead. Ottawa is getting little respect from the oddsmakers once again. The RedBlacks are 3-0 SU/ATS at home, including winning outright twice as the dog. Calgary is 0-3 SU and 2-1 ATS on the road. From a situational and scheduling stand point, this one favors OTTAWA, and that's the play for me in this particular matchup. Good luck, NP |

This is a 10* UNDERDOG OF THE YEAR on the Red Sox. Neither team has been playing great, but they say that divisional matchups are always the most important and that they almost always mean the most to the home side. Each team had yesterday off, but this one favors Brayan Bello and the hungry home side in my opinion. Nestor Cortes Jr. is 4-9 with a 3.99 ERA for the Yanks, but he was just shelled for six runs over four innings in a loss to the Rays at home on Saturday. Also note that he's a downright terrible 0-5 with a 6.10 ERA on the road this season. Brayan Bello is 10-5 with a 5.27 ERA for the Red Sox, but he owns a 28:5 K:BB in July and he's also logged back-to-back quality outings. These two guys are moving in opposite directions and it makes Bello and the RED SOX the correct call in the opener of this divisional series in Boston on Friday night. Good luck, NP |
